How to whitelist an email address

If you are having issues receiving mail from a certain email address, you may find that those emails and/or email address have been identified by SpamAssassin as spam, resulting in the emails being filtered and not reaching your inbox.

To resolve this you are able to whitelist an email address and/or domain to ensure their mail is received successfully.

1. Firstly, login to your cPanel account. If you have forgotten your cPanel credentials, they were included in the original Welcome to Serversaurus email which you should be able to find in your inbox otherwise follow these instructions on how to update your cPanel password.

2. Navigate to the SpamAssassin function using the Find bar to help you.

3. Now select Configure Apache SpamAssassin from the options

4. On the following page you will see that you are able to add email addresses and/or a domain to the whitelist by entering the details into the whitelist_from text box.

If needed you are also able to add domains/or email addresses to the blacklist by entering details into blacklist_from.
