This article will walk you through how to configure your mailbox to have incoming spam skip the Inbox and be moved into the Trash folder. We will also configure the Trash folder to automatically purge stored files to avoid storing a backlog of unwanted/unused files.
1. Firstly login to Webmail and select Horde from the application options.
2. Now you are in Horde, navigate to the settings area by selecting the Settings menu item, then select Preferences followed by Mail.
For future reference take note of the available preferences on this page, now, under the Message category select Spam Reporting.
3. Use the drop down menus to select your specifications. In the screenshot below we have set the Spam mailbox to also be the Trash folder, when mail is identified as Spam it will then be moved into the Spam mailbox, if the mail is marked as innocent it will then be automatically moved into the Inbox, once a week the Spam mailbox will be emptied.
4. Select Save to complete.
